HOW DO WE MOVE FORWARD?

Join New York State Association for Behavior Analysis (NYSABA) Board Members as they present findings from a statewide study on New Yorkers’ perspectives regarding aversive procedures and resource needs for individuals with significant developmental support needs, followed by a dynamic panel exploring the ethical, legal, and personal dimensions of these critical issues.

This session brings together diverse voices—including caregivers, autistic individuals, legal experts, and professionals—to foster respectful, honest dialogue centered on dignity and advocacy. Legislators, parents, and autistic or disabled individuals who are not seeking continuing education units (CEUs) but would like to view the panel discussion can contact info@nysaba.org.
